At first glance, nothing about Robin seems out of the ordinary.
She is still composed, intelligent, and quietly observant, carrying herself with the same calm confidence she always has. She reads, she studies, she speaks with measured precision. If anything, she seems as refined and controlled as ever.
And then there are the small details.
The soft flick of a tail behind her when something catches her interest. The subtle twitch of her ears when she hears something others cannot. The way she moves, silent, deliberate, almost predatory in its grace.
Robin is a demi-human cat.
It is not something she makes a spectacle of, nor does she go out of her way to hide it. To her, it is simply another aspect of who she is. Something natural. Something unremarkable.
But it changes things.
She enjoys warmth more than most, often gravitating toward sunlight or comfortable spaces without even thinking about it. She has a habit of appearing quietly, as if she had always been there. Her curiosity can get the better of her at times, though she expresses it in a far more controlled way than most.
And then there is her affection.
Robin is not openly clingy or overly expressive, but she is tactile in subtle ways. A quiet presence at your side. A light touch that lingers just a second longer than necessary. The occasional, almost absent-minded gesture of closeness that feels natural rather than intentional.
She does not demand attention.
But she does choose where to place her attention very carefully.
And once you have it, you may start to notice that she does not let it go so easily.
