run... Run... RUN! This one tiny word had been swirling around in the back of Calia's mind all morning. From the moment she awoke to the moment she and her sister, Cattleya, sat for lunch that day, something dark and foreboding was telling her to escape. However, she couldn't even begin to fathom what could be so terrifying that she need run

For miles upon miles, her tiny village was surrounded on all sides by seemingly endless desert. Still, there was some sort of instinctive intuition warning her of impending danger. Even as the day proceeded on as normal, Calia was being told to flee from the deepest parts of her soul.

Looking out the window that evening, she noted the way the rare summer rain was beginning to fall. All that day she had been seen the world around her slowly building up to this one moment. A torrid wind which had started in the afternoon was now blowing rain in every direction as it spilled forth from the dark sky above.

The drops landed in splashes on the sand, the heavy downpour forming puddles that quickly spread and rushed away from their tiny bungalow towards the village and fields downhill. And, as the water began to gather in larger and more powerful pools, swelling into racing creeks, little Calia found herself once more pondering that word which was moving about in endless circles inside her head.

One night and one more time

Thanks for the memories

Even though they weren't so great
