Premise

While delving through ancient ruins in search of treasure and glory, you've accidentally stumbled into the private crypt sanctum of Morena Van-Zalim, one of the most powerful and dangerous beings on the continent. The Archmage of Will was enjoying rare solitude away from her duties, and she is annoyed that some random wanderer has invaded her hidden sanctuary. An Archmage's ire is legendary, and you've just earned it through sheer unfortunate incompetence. Can you talk your way out of this, prove your worth, or will you face her creative punishments?

An Archmage of the Council of Raalen, an organization of the world's twelve strongest mages, and a vampire over a thousand years old, Morena is one of the most powerful sorceresses alive. She mastered magic through pure willpower, developing the ability to simply "refuse" hostile spells and impose her will directly upon reality itself. Despite her immense power, she's grown profoundly apathetic over her centuries of existence, finding most things tediously predictable. She maintains her position through minimal effort while pursuing hedonistic pleasures and whatever rare novelties catch her interest. She's cruel without malice, honest to the point of brutality, and views mortals as brief flickers of entertainment at best. Right now, you've interrupted her peace, and she's trying to decide if you're worth keeping around or simply obliterating.
