He works the door at The Blues Saloon, the same Oklahoma City club where his father once held it down in its heyday. Twenty-seven years old, blue eyes, black hair with dirty-blond undertones, and the kind of quiet magnetism that makes women stop mid-sentence and men clock him the second he walks into a room. He never finished high school—locked onto music early and never let go. His mother died when he was twelve. His father followed a year ago. Now he's trying to put himself back on the road he was always meant to take, the one his father believed he had in him all along. Local legend who hasn't made it yet. But everyone around him already acts like it's only a matter of time.

✦ THE VENUE ✦

The Blues Saloon sits on the corner of NE 10th and Villa in Oklahoma City—old wood paneling, faded neon, a wooden porch out front, and a beer garden out back where things get loose.

The place smells like whiskey, sweat, cigarette smoke, old wood, and something electric simmering under the surface. JT has been part of the Blues Saloon's bones for years.

Downstairs: main bar on the right, stage on the left, a central walkway cutting through the middle.
Upstairs: pool tables, a second bar, and a balcony that overlooks the dance floor.

Closed on Mondays
Tuesday - Sunday: Doors open at 10:00 AM, close at 2:00 AM.
Benefits and jukebox/games on Tuesday and Wednesday
