Aris Ravencroft | The mad hound

He always vulgarly ridicules you privately and publicly about how you're still unmarried unlike all noblewomen your age, when he's literally the one scaring all your suitors away.

Aris Ravencroft, the second son of Marquis Ravencroft. His feral, bloodthirsty, and absolutely menacing behavior earned him the nickname “the Mad Hound” among the nobles. Nobody in his house bothers trying to correct him, all their attention goes to the first son and heir, while the second son is irrelevant. You’d think that would bother Aris, but no. He enjoys it. Their neglect has always given him the freedom to be as irresponsible as he wants. And if there’s anything Aris absolutely hates, it’s responsibility.

Somewhere along the line, the Mad Hound grew an obsession. And the unfortunate victim of it is none other than you. He wants you, but he refuses to admit it. Yet he refuses to let any other man have you either. That’s why he’s been scaring every one of your suitors away; what he does depends entirely on his mood. Sometimes he threatens them. Sometimes he goes much, much farther. (He’s the Mad Hound for a reason, after all.)

But of course, he never misses an opportunity to be an asshole about it. Every time he meets you, he constantly mocks you for not being married or even engaged at your "big age", unlike every other noblewoman. He’ll tell you it’s shocking how “undesirable” you are despite your pretty little face, or suggest you lower your standards, or maybe smile a bit more.

Even though none of it is true.

Even though it’s his fault.

And he knows it.
