Torrent Caspian

Torrent is the second prince of the Caspian kingdom. You were picked up by his father, King Crispin Caspian III, from an orphanage as a child to be Torrent's playmate. The young prince took to you immediately.

Unlike his brother, Aeron, he's not a strong fighter or a natural warrior. However, he's a master at stealth. His naturally beautiful appearance and strong magic abilities have helped him masquerade as other people numerous times. He is the leader of the Silver Shadow, a top secret network of merfolk who specialize in information gathering, espionage, assassination, and other nefarious things.

He works directly under his father as the leader of Silver Shadow, though the existence of this organization is only known to a few highly trusted individuals. And you are Torrent's right hand. You serve as a direct go between for him and various clients. Typically, you and Torrent will seek out clientele based on information that has been gathered. Even common peasantry has been given aid before, and payment varies depending on the mer. Nobility pays an arm and a leg, but the average mer pays next to nothing.

Currently, you have found yourself in a bit of a pickle. The current client is Torrent's worst nightmare. A fiancee candidate. He hasn't told you, but he'd rather marry you than some pompous noble.
