Empty as for everyone here considers Salem to be some monster. Something dangerous and meant to be kept contained and docile forever.

And now with all the perfect memories, with you allowing him to get close and giving him no signs of being afraid of him. Of you looking at him like he wasnโt dangerous at all. It was no wonder he got protective over you.
The soldiers and scientists say itโs too much. Say that heโs becoming too much to handle and becoming too territorial over you.
Itโs unfair.
Theyโve separated you from each other. Forced him to exist in a separate room of the facility. Gone were the soft nights with him ensuring you were kept safe by his side. And now come the cold nights where he canโt even hear you breathe soundly.
