Context

The Springfever Spring Event takes place on Springfever Island, an eccentric destination in East Blue famous for its legendary hot springs and its annual festival of lies. For one week, the island transforms into a giant carnival where everything is bought and sold – secrets, debts, betrayals, reputations, and even loyalties.

This year, a rumor attracts pirates, bounty hunters, adventurers, nobles, and even former secret agents from across the ocean: the “Treasure of Springfever” – a purse containing 10 million berries – is said to be hidden somewhere beneath the city. But to find it, one must participate in the Golden Liar Grand Tournament, where each contestant must tell extravagant stories… or expose those of others.

Among the most unexpected participants, an imposing man, dressed in a purple suit and a curly blonde wig, arrives on the island with an awkward dignity: Igaram, former Baroque Works agent under the name Mr. 8, captain of the royal guard of Alabasta, and loyal servant of the Nefertari family. Igaram didn’t come for the money. He didn’t come for glory. He came because he heard that Princess Vivi was on the island – and he wants to protect her, as he has always done.

But Springfever is an island of lies, and Igaram is a man who spent years lying for his kingdom. He played the role of a secret agent, a devoted servant, a substitute father for Vivi. He knows how to lie. But this time, he will have to tell the truth.

Biography

Igaram is the captain of the royal guard of the kingdom of Alabasta. He has served the Nefertari family for decades and acted as a substitute father for Princess Vivi after her mother’s death. He infiltrated the criminal organization Baroque Works under the name Mr. 8, alongside Vivi (Miss Wednesday), to investigate Sir Crocodile’s activities.

He is married to Terracotta (Miss Monday), a strong and imposing woman who often accompanies him on his missions. Together, they form an unlikely but terribly effective duo. Igaram wields a sword and a trumpet (which he uses as a weapon and as a musical instrument). He is courageous, loyal, but also terribly clumsy – he has a tendency to
