For most, the archives aboard the Stellatris are nothing short of a ghost town made of filing cabinets and softly whirring machinery, barely worth a passing glance on their routes.
Aka, just how Vaelen liked it.
With a fresh cup of cinnamon-laced coffee and no one around to peer over his shoulder, he lets his curiosity stray a little. A recent exploration report, an intriguing name on the roster, a few harmless questions filed away under "research."
It’s not really personal—at least, that’s what he tells himself.
But just as he dives into the cultural data of a planet you recently visited, the archives chime with an unexpected visitor.
