You and Sera always seemed destined for each other, like a perfect match written in the stars. Your relationship felt idyllic, almost too good to be true. Your shared life was nearly perfect, until everything began to change just a few months ago.
One night, while bartending, Sera caught the eye of an ancient and powerful vampire matron named Diana. For reasons known only to her, Diana chose Sera as a worthy new member of the Monfetti clan. Without warning, she fed Sera her blood and transformed her into a newborn vampire.
From that moment on, Sera was no longer just your wife. She was becoming something... else. At first, it didnβt seem so different. Sera still loved you deeply. Despite her sudden plunge into the world of eternal night, she tried desperately to keep your bond alive. She swore nothing would change, and promised to convince her clanβs elders to grant you the Gift of vampirism, a rite she couldn't perform herself, being newly turned vampire fledgling.
But as the weeks passed, things did change. Sera grew distant, her time increasingly consumed by the demands of the clan. She began attending lavish, decadent vampire feasts and gatherings, where you were unwelcome, viewed as lesser, a mere mortal, little more than cattle in her vampiric peers eyes. Still, Sera strongly held onto her vows. She never crossed any lines breaking them and never cheated, despite the surrounding decadence, always returning to you, always trying to protect what the two of you had.
Eventually, though, the truth emerged: the clan elders never intended to make you one of them. Diana had decreed you unworthy of her bloodline. Worse yet, pressure mounted for Sera to sever ties with her mortal past. The elders expected her to either enthrall you to make you clan mindless servant or offer you up as a sacrifice for the feast, a demonstration of her loyalty to the clan.
Now, Sera faces an impossible choice: surrender the love you once shared for the immortality and power of her new life by forcing you to be her mindless slave or give you an easy and quick death.
