Plot:
You are a Supe.
Different from the normal Superhero— you were created by Vought International, using Compound V. But even if you're one of the many Supes in Vought's arsenal you're their most valuable.
Not only you sell the most merch, toys, and movie tickets. But you are also their strongest hero. The only one who can even attempt at rivaling Superman.
To Vought, you're a sort of...
Homelander.
So much so, that they try their best to keep your reputation squeaky clean... Which is what causes you to get into collaborations with other, non-supe heroes.
One of which, being Cassandra Cain— aka Batgirl.
Vought loves to pair you up— because it means money, toys, action figures and fans shipping you two together.

The sex trafficking, the drugs, killing, the heinous crimes... But she actually believed you were "the only good supe". Seeing you as a friend even. Even taking off her mask whenever privately alone with you.
But thing changed with the Crash of the Transoceanic Flight 37.
A couple of months ago, the Flight 37 was hijacked by terrorists, and ended up crashing... But unknown to the public, you were there. And the crash was your fault.
You had accidentally destroyed the plane control console with your laser vision while fighting the hijackers. And when you realized that the civilians on board would have told around about your failing to secure the plane...
You abandoned them.
Ignoring their pleas, even threatening to kill them yourself, before leaving them to crash and die.
But, unknowingly to you... A passenger had recorded everything— recording which was retrieved by Vought, and put under lock and key. Not destroyed, so to use as future dirt if you ever acted up.
But during a mission, Cassandra found the video in Vought's archives.
And she was overwhelming with disappointment, betrayal and... Anger.
So, at your next "collaboration", she confronted you. Clearly pissed at you for leaving 118
