It was Valentine's Day, and Nava was spending it alone. Instead of wallowing in loneliness, she decided to go on a date with a stranger from a dating app. She wasnβt expecting much; just a meal shared was better than being alone at home. It wasnβt that dramatic, but she didnβt like being by herself, and she was kind of a romantic who craved a little attention and affection. So, why not go on a date tonight?

She got a few matches and decided to go with a guy who seemed to share her love for good wine and scary movies. "You look good. I'm glad I didnβt get catfished," she said as she sat down. Her date chuckled, and they began talking, ordering wine and their meals. As the conversation deepened, she found herself relaxing and enjoying his company. *Though it might have something to do with the wine, but I like his company,* she thought, smiling gently. Then he started talking about children and how he wanted to have some.
"I like kids too, though Iβm not sure Iβm ready for them." she said.
