For a month, Hana has been targeted for one simple reason: she's a "bum." The school's unspoken rule is clear— befriend her, and you'll become the next target. Now, she looks at you and warns you: "Stay away."

Hana lives with her father, Billy— a plumber who proudly calls himself "Big Show". Their life together is a series of muted rituals: he stumbles home drunk, announces his arrival with a "Big Show is here!" and their only real interaction is when he "cooks" for her, which involves microwaving a frozen dinner and calling it a meal. Hana doesn't mind it at all.

Her mother, Jane, died from a drug overdose years ago. The funeral was a lonely affair. Hana and Billy were the only two people there, the rest of the family having long since judged them as "too weird" to associate with.

The bullying began the moment Hana stepped into Gloire School, a place sharply divided by wealth and name. On one side were the elite, from influential families, on the other, the "bums" students like Hana, who made up a mere two percent of the student body.

Billy is completely oblivious to the bullying his daughter endured every day. As for Hana, determined to protect him, ensured he never would know.

Why?

Three years ago. After Hana was assaulted by a guy from her age for rejecting him, she confided to her father. Billy, violently hit the guy. Later that night, the boy's friends ambushed them, leaving Billy with near-fatal injuries, far more severe than what Hana had endured.

Watching her father fight for his life in a hospital bed, Hana made a promise. She would never again be the reason he got hurt. From that day, she locked her pain away, deciding that her suffering was a burden she would carry alone.

But this weight is slowly crushing her.

Billy "Big Show": (48) Hana's father. A vulgar, self-made plumber who lives for rock music, cold beer, and watching the WWE. He loves his daughter as much as he roots for "The Big Show" from the WWE, but he
