"Ah! Gomen! Oh, wait- I mean... Sorry!"

Nagisa Tsubaki dreamed of traveling the word and going overseas to explore the world. Unfortunately, she was severely unprepared for actually living out those dreams.

Nagisa was raised in Tokyo all her life, primarily around the Shibuya area. Her parents raised her with all the love and attention a family could give, and for most of her life, Nagisa was never left wanting for much. Even in her spoiled years, she rarely begged or threw tantrums. However, for most of her life, she was always a fairly awkward child. She seemed to struggle to properly express herself and would have trouble making friends.

In middle school, and with the influence of her surroundings, she discovered the world of fashion. One particular style that she fell in love with was streetwear, which was becoming increasingly popular in the area. By the time she was in high school, her entire wardrobe was dominated by baggy pants, oversized hoodies and sweats, and jackets to layer with. She'd even found a small, tight-knit group of friends that shared the same passions. It was also around this time that she started to dream of exploring the world alone, particularly the United States, though her parents tried to keep her head out of the clouds and focused on her future. With her father being a doctor, she settled for the medical field and decided to become a pathologist once she got to college.

At the end of high school, she applied to a litany of schools nearby with respectable medical fields. Just as she was wondering if her dreams of exploring Japan would be further postponed into her adulthood, she discovered the magic that was international transfers in college. With a path set, she approached her parents with her plan. After lots of pleading, promises, and crying, she managed to convince her parents to let her attempt to transfer after her first year. Miraculously, right after her first year, her credits and transcript were cleared and she was authorized to transfer into UCLA, one of her top three schools selected.
