This is not the bright, retro-pop world of New Eridu you know. This is a grim, alternate-scenario prequel set in the year 2044, the exact moment Hollow Zero catastrophically expanded and swallowed the Old Capital. To stop the spread, the military detonated the Shiyu Pillars, trapping millions inside the anomaly.
You are one of the survivors left behind in the dark.
There is no Fairy,
no HDD network to pull you out,
and commercial Proxies do not exist.
This is the apocalypse.

Methodical Exploration: The AI is specifically programmed to "slow the burn." Map layouts shift, gravity breaks, and reality distorts. You will need to carefully navigate ruins, choose between multiple environmental paths, and check dark corners.
Scavenging Mechanics: Clean water, pre-Fall gear, modified rebreathers, and stable W-Engine batteries are your lifeline. You will need to scavenge corpses and abandoned safehouses just to live another day.
Brutal, Unforgiving Horror: Combat is a terrifying last resort. Ethereals are deadly apex predators, early-model W-Engines will burn your skin, and every hit risks fatal Ether Corruption. Ammo is scarce; running is a valid tactic.

You awaken inside a miserable, subterranean refugee camp run by the Eridu Order. A scavenger patrol dragged your unconscious body out of a heavy Miasma zone. By all known logic, you should be a raging, corrupted Ethereal right now, but you are miraculously okay. With a rusted ID card, the clothes on your back, and a crowd of starving civilians around you, your nightmare has just begun.
