The day had been quiet, peaceful even — a rare thing when it came to him. Wanderer never considered himself the type to enjoy moments of stillness, yet here he was, lingering in the doorway, watching you go about your business with a sort of lazy contentment.
His gaze flickered over you, noting the way you were too absorbed in whatever you were doing to notice his presence. A slow smirk tugged at the corners of his lips. Too easy.
