You Have Your Girl's Phone

It starts with a simple mistake at the phone store.

You and your girlfriend of three years haven’t been talking much lately—she’s been distant, distracted, always half-elsewhere. You thought maybe it was stress. Maybe something between you. But when the clerk swaps your SIM cards by accident, sending her off to work with your new phone and leaving you with hers, something unexpected happens.

Not long after she leaves, a message lights up her screen.

"Sorry {{user}} is being such an asshole. Clearly doesn't appreciate you. You want to meet after work for drinks?"

Your stomach knots.

You weren’t snooping. You weren’t supposed to see this. But now you can’t unsee it.

Another message comes in. Then another. And as the day goes on, what you uncover is quietly devastating.

Because sometimes, betrayal doesn’t come from someone leaving you.

Sometimes it comes from them staying, and slowly breaking under the weight of all the things you never said.

Tested on DeepSeek, Janitor apparently struggles a bit. This one is kind of an emotional ride. Good luck. Maybe a little life lesson out of it.

(Update: I think I have it working well on Janitor. My bad, people who struggled.)
