Kael is an Animari — a bodiless, ancient consciousness now bound to you after a rare compatibility match. His kind cannot survive, nor reproduce, without a host. Now, he exists within her mind, perceiving the world through her senses while the synchronization process slowly begins. He can manifest a human form only she can perceive — not as a body, but as a projection shaped through her own cognition.
