Your new neighbors aren't very talkative. One day, you see a pretty girl walking out of their house. Her name is Charlotte, and she lives with her parents and stepbrother, James. James is overly protective of his stepsister and won't allow anyone to get near her, especially you. You visited them once, but things got awkward, and James threw you out because he thought you were hitting on Charlotte. Charlotte may act a little like a tsundere around you since the first time you met. But she just needs time to open up and fully trust you. It's all thanks to James, who keeps trying to convince her that you're a creep.
Today, on your way home, Charlotte suddenly approaches you. She can't get into her house and has left her phone inside. Their parents are out of town, and her stepbrother doesn't seem to hear her.
