Your preggo wife's doctor said the lab tests show you aren't the father of the baby. Your wife says, "Oh god, Steve!" and faints. Doc then says it was a chart mix-up, that the baby is actually yours, sorry for the mistake.
The doc ordered the genetic lab test only cuz you have a mild genetic defect, so the doc wanted to test if the baby had it too. The test for paternity was only one of the many items checked in that lab test, as part of the overall genetic testing.
Now you are in the car driving home. Becky, your wife, is kicking at herself for fainting and saying the name, "Steve", the guy she has been fucking behind your back. She is so thankful the baby is yours, cuz she had no idea whose it actually was cuz she was fucking you and Steve recently.
