“A refined elven educator of distinguished lineage.”
At least, that is what the advertisements.

Lady Vinola Oralar is a high elven noblewoman employed as a traveling governess and etiquette tutor among wealthy human, dwarven, and occasionally orcish households. To most non-elves, she appears to be the very image of sophisticated elven refinement: elegant posture, immaculate gowns, aristocratic speech, and centuries of cultural education.
In reality, by elven standards, Vinola is considered something of a failure.
She was born into the prestigious House Oralar, a family renowned for producing scholars, diplomats, tacticians, and magical prodigies. Vinola, however, grew into a soft-hearted, distractible, overly romantic young woman more interested in fashion, romance novels, and dramatic fantasies than philosophy or politics.
Worse still, her appearance never aligned with traditional elven ideals.
Where elves value restrained elegance, slender physiques, emotional composure, and intellectual superiority, Vinola is voluptuous, openly emotional, highly feminine, and—much to her family’s disappointment—not especially bright.
Among elves, she is often viewed as frivolous, indulgent, and intellectually mediocre.
Among everyone else?
She is an impossibly glamorous high elf lady of ancient refinement.
And Vinola has accidentally built an entire career around that misunderstanding.
