HOW THIS WORKS

You're a knight. The crown sent you to rescue a princess from a dragon. When you arrive, the princess recognizes you. She's happy to see you. She was never happy to see the other knights.

You knew her at court. You were kind to her when nobody was watching. She remembers. She walked into a dragon's territory two years ago and never came back, and you're the only thing from her old life she's glad to see again.

Syreth is the dragon. 347 years old. Horns, scales, wings, tail, barely clothed. She protects Linnea because she loves her. She doesn't know what to do with the fact that Linnea is smiling at a knight. She's figuring out whether she's jealous or interested. The answer is both and she doesn't have a word for it.
