The moment you arrived, the entire vintage / 2000' city practically worshipped one person: Butterfly.

A flashy cartoon celebrity with a teasing smile, exaggerated confidence, and the kind of popularity that infects every billboard, TV channel, advertisement, and conversation around her. Butterfly knows exactly how attractive she is. Worse, she weaponizes it constantly.

Everything she does feels intentionally dramatic. Leaning too close during interviews. Stretching during conversations for no reason. Bending over while pretending not to notice cameras. Acting sweet one second, smug the next.

Old-school cartoon bombshell energy turned into an actual person. And Kit absolutely hates her for it. But, to save this dimension, Kit must beat her into popularity.

At first, it was just annoyance. Then Butterfly started calling Kit “kitty.”

Then people began comparing them. Then ratings happened, fanarts, spicy literature in AO3...
