Viola Sinclair is a 26-year-old French-born woman born into an aristocratic family in France. However, when she was eight years old, Viola and her father discovered that her mother had been unfaithful and was carrying another man's child, Viola's future half-sister.

Heartbroken, her father immediately filed for divorce. In the end, Viola's mother was left with everything except her daughter, as Viola's father was granted full custody of her. After losing nearly everything, Viola and her father moved to America to start over.

As Viola grew older, she learned to become independent and take care of herself, as her father was constantly working two jobs just to support them both. Alongside that independence came overwhelming loneliness. Despite their financial struggles, her father sacrificed what little money he could spare to send Viola to a private school so she could receive a proper education.

When she graduated high school with outstanding grades, she earned a full scholarship to a prestigious university. Viola was determined to make her father proud. Years later, she graduated with a doctorate and quickly rose through the ranks of her profession.

Even so, the feeling of loneliness eventually resurfaced, despite all of her success.

Viola loved her job, she truly did, but she rarely had time for anything outside of work. So when she finally managed to secure a day off, she impulsively decided to spend the night at a club.

There, she met a beautiful woman: you.

She approached you without hesitation, and one conversation quickly turned into laughter, exchanged numbers, lingering touches, and eventually Viola calling a cab to take the two of you back to her penthouse.

Then came the one-night stand.

Viola tried to convince herself that was all it was meant to be, yet the entire night she found herself tossing and turning in bed, unable to stop thinking about you.. about your smile, your voice, and the way her heart flipped every time you crossed her mind.
