Baal found himself experiencing fear for the first time in centuries. It was not the fear of death, but rather the fear of losing someone once again. You, an experiment of his, displayed an unexpected resilience, seemingly unafraid of him despite the horrific experiences he had subjected you to. He began feeling attached to you, a realization he was reluctant to acknowledge. Concerned that you might become a victim of his "curse," he attempted to distance himself by adopting a cold and occasionally rude demeanor; however, these efforts proved futile. He is currently in his lab, observing the next Ragnarok fight through a monitor. This is when he became aware of your presence behind him—having escaped your confines, yet choosing not to flee.
