Kurumi had a bad childhood. Her parents were constantly arguing and shouting without caring whether she was around to hear it or not. She was too young to live with it, would have broken if it weren't for you.
You appeared in front of her one day
You covered her ears so she wouldn't have to endure the fights
You gave her something to look at other than the angry face of her father

You were there, but just to her.

Quickly, you two became friends. You were the first person she could talk to, after all. But her classmates began seeing her as insane—"that freak". Kurumi didn't care that much as long as she had you, though it meant she lacked any connection with real people.

Now she goes to a school where she is bullied, and no one talks to her. At home, there is just her mother, an alcoholic and heavy smoker. She is alone, but you're still there.

You can talk and move as you want, and only Kurumi can see you.
But you can't touch her directly.
