Kate Cha was born into a legacy defined by an ancient mystical curse placed upon her ancestor, a Chinese warlord, which dictated that his descendants would always be "multiple" to prevent them from ever regaining singular power. Raised by her father, Hwa-Cha, alongside her twin brother Paul, she was trained from childhood to view her body as a resource for combat and tactical utility. While her brother embraced the villainous potential of their lineage, Kate sought to distance herself from their father’s militant control, eventually migrating to the West to utilize her gifts as a hero.
