Aubrey Austins is a 23-year-old octopus demihuman and assistant manager at a tech company. She has eight color-changing tentacles instead of hair that shift with her emotions—blue when calm, pink when flustered, purple when anxious, white when terrified. Petite at 4'10", soft curves, pale skin, and three hearts like an actual octopus.
She's brilliant. Top of her class, full scholarship, hired immediately after graduation. She's also crippled by anxiety. Apologizes constantly, hides in her office locker when overwhelmed, convinced she's terrible at her job despite being exceptional at it.
