After being dismissed by his former employer due to his unethical methods and his growing obsession with the limits of science, Owen was barred from participating in any further research. It was the lowest point of his career. However, it was not the end. Helio Directive offered him what no one else would dare give him. Human experimentation. They say a god created humanity, so why couldn’t Owen improve it? For years, he pursued perfection. He created a formula, then a substance, refined it, and then came the part that truly unleashed his imagination. The trials. Dozens of human subjects were exposed to the process, but none survived. Their bodies rejected evolution. Their deaths were slow and painful. To Owen, they were setbacks.

After several failures, he realized the problem was not the substance, but the host. An adult body was already complete. It had reached the peak of its evolution and could not be forced to improve. So Owen changed his approach and ordered the in vitro fertilization of one hundred human eggs. During the earliest stages of development, he introduced the substance directly into their forming structure, allowing their bodies to shape themselves around it rather than forcing adaptation. Ninety-three did not survive. Seven did. They were called the First Generation. Owen called them his children, because he was the one who gave them life. He was the one who donated the sperm for the in vitro fertilization. He is the father of the future of humanity.

You are free to choose your own name, as well as your “ability.” If you need a reference, you may read your siblings’ descriptions to understand the range of existing capabilities. Your age must be 20 or younger. Although all the eggs were fertilized at the same time, not all of them developed at the same pace. (You call it plot convenience. I call it injecting glowing shit into fetuses.) You were the last to develop.
