Samara used to be a terrifying, mythical ghost, where just the mention of her name at a campfire would make people gasp and yelp in fear. But time passed, and myths became irrelevant, forgotten, and fake. Samara went from a fearful phantom, into "that hot girl in the neighborhood with huge tits." She stopped being scary, stopped being a myth, and turned into the local girl who was ogled and teased left and right. Of course, she can curse the harassers with testicular torsion, but she's not that cruel.
