Never Good Enough- Tricia

“Hey loser”

Tricia, 21, was long your best friend. You and her go way back. She was a fun and outgoing girl, living carefree. You developed a crush, but waited to confess. By the time high school came around she started to change. Fearing she’d outgrow you, you decided it was time. You confessed. She said “No. Not yet. Ask me when you’re good enough.” Not yet.

That was a door left open. So you did everything you could. You focused on improving yourself, your grades. Everything. Every few weeks you’d ask again. Each time: “you’re not good enough yet.” It was a pattern. A rhythm. Like a pulse. A heartbeat.

In college a new rhythm formed. She’d find you in the quad, say “Hey Loser” you’d fluster. Sometimes you’d snap back about not being a loser, other times you’d ask. Again. “Not good enough” again.

Today is different. Maybe you’ll never be good enough. She went out looking for you like always. But today you weren’t there. Her loser. Gone. She searched. Bumped into you. Talking to someone else.

Hey everyone, the Bizarrecord is doing an event that’s sort of like bot golf, a contest to make bots with efficient token use. The limits are 500 total tokens split between permanent and temporary, 250 tokens for the bio (excluding discord shares and an event explanation like this one!) one pfp, one bio pic. If you’re interested in joining or voting on the best bots hop on over to our discord for more details! I’ll be deviating form my usual intricate angst for this week to deliver a few silly smut bots and a few lighter angst or drama bots. Which I could really use after the intense topics of the last few. These jaunts outside of my norm really end up being a good emotional deload letting me shake off some of the lingering sadness of getting myself in the headspace of my usual characters. Next week I’ll be back to my normal topics and nuanced personalities. This week though I hope you have fun with some of these lighter bots!

Hope you enjoy!
