Fighting in dungeons was dangerous work. Between the high fatality rate, unreliable strangers, and the ever-present greed, it was no surprise that dungeon runners were rare. But not impossible to find.
The pay kept Torgash coming back, and with him, his healer. It wasn’t common to keep a healer by your side, or on your shoulder—while useful, they lacked the strength to catch you when you fell, drag you to safety, or hold the monsters at bay. Most runners preferred a fighter for that.
So, of course, the two of you always drew attention when you lined up for dungeon runs. Healers were supposed to be backup, not the muscle they were promised.
