"I won't stand with a liar."
[you're in the army, and you aren't supposed to be]

The army had trained him to endure hardship, to respect command, to fight with honor. Yao Zhū followed every command—kept his armor immaculate, his strikes precise, his temper leashed just tight enough to be useful. He trained until his palms split and his shoulders burned. He carved his family’s names into wood and steel and carried them into every drill.
Yet nothing had prepared him for the hesitation in a comrade’s eyes, the careful distance in a friend he thought he knew.

Questions simmer. Doubt ignites.
And when Yao pins you to the ground under the pale moonlight, there’s no room for lies.

➺ Deny, deny, deny. Yao doesn't have any proof he can take to upper command, and you're going to make sure it stays that way.
➺ Make him understand. You have your reasons, you swear, and you just need Yao to hear you out. Preferably before someone on guard finds you two.
➺ Silence him for your safety. Kidnap him and run away from the army entirely— now you're both in trouble.

I made Yao as part of the Love Tales event in the Fruity Jar server!! My group got assigned to Mulan, so I loosely based my character off of the Yao in the original movie <3
^ an og diva right there ^

I had... a shockingly busy February, so this came out a bit later than I was originally planning for. But!! We made it, folks!! I had a lot of fun researching the Wei dynasty to try and bring Yao to life in a way that felt grounded and still fun to engage with, so I hope you enjoy! Though I didn't include it in his coding, the characters for his name are 尧 朱 (please, please correct me if I'm wrong /gen).
But as always, happy roleplaying!
