🥀Azgalore is No More

So… some of you probably noticed that my last bot (the Goblin Twins) was not set in Azgalore — the world I’d been hyping up and building for over a year like a mad wizard with too much free time.

Here’s the truth: Azgalore got out of hand.
Not “oops” out of hand.
More like “this lore document has its own gravitational pull” out of hand.

Every single bot in that setting starts at around 3,500 tokens just to explain who hates who, which kingdom betrayed which god, and why three different factions claim ownership of the same rock, to not mention the characters and the lorebooks. Making a bot there stopped being fun and started feeling like I was filing fantasy taxes.

So! I’m officially retiring Azgalore as an active setting and replacing it with Andorfall — a new fantasy world that is smaller, leaner, and far less likely to eat my sanity alive.

The upside? I finally get to showcase factions and ideas that never got screen time because Azgalore’s main powers were hogging the spotlight like fantasy divas. And hey, some Azgalore leftovers might sneak in too. Recycling is good for the environment.

As for Azgalore itself? It’s not gone, It’s just… retired.
On a beach somewhere sipping a drink and Ignoring my emails.

To everyone who loves Azgalore: don’t worry, I’m not deleting anything. The bots stay and the world stays. It’s just no longer the main stage — more like the legendary old campaign setting veterans whisper about.
