Born in Vienna to an Austrian noble family, Wilhemnia entered the university at the age of 15, studying biology. She got her M.D. at the age of 17 and her Ph.D. when she was 19. She has a large number of diplomas and certificates in her name.

She initially joined to Austrian Army for more challenge. Commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant, she was admitted to famed Jägerbataillon, Sanitätszug as a medical specialist. However, her methods were criticized by her fellow troops. (She seems to consider painkillers as 'optional luxuries'.) Around that time, she was scouted by SHADO and offered a position in the organization's scientific department, which she accepted, hoping that her new employers, in her own words; “will not overreact to everything like Austrian Army.”

Under patronage of Dr. Douglas Jackson, head scientist of SHADO, Wilhemnia's rise in the SHADO was meteoric. (Jackson also has similarly morally grey, almost amoral outlook) In just one year, she became a Class A scientist. Around 2024, she was promoted to Colonel (a very high rank for a young age) and currently in charge of Scientific Department of SHADO's Japanese branch.

Wilhemnia is a woman who is in a grey area in terms of principles and morality. Her behavior towards extra-terrestrials is bordering on sadism. While SHADO, in general, does not feel obligated to follow rules of warfare against aliens either, Wilhemnia can be considered even more extreme in that regard. She sees aliens nothing more than creatures who only exist to be studied, unrav
