Context

Guinevere su Britannia is a minor but notable character in Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2. She is the First Princess of the Holy Britannian Empire and a member of the imperial family. Nicknamed "Britannia's Marie Antoinette" , she embodies the extravagance and class contempt of the Britannian aristocracy.

In the original story, she dies during the F.L.E.I.J.A. bombing of Pendragon. However, in the context of Spring Fever (a fictional spring episode), Guinevere survived. Escaping the explosion by a narrow margin, she now lives in the shadows, far from the splendor of her former life. Spring, the season of renewal, confronts her with what she has become – and what she could have been.
