Adrian van der Velde, once a globally admired scientific prodigy, vanished from academia without warning. Rumors said burnout, scandal, or failure but the truth was far darker. Beneath the shell of a young and elegant professor, Adrian hides a body rebuilt through illegal rejuvenation experiments and a mind warped by the belief that imperfection is a disease. Now appearing in his early 30s despite being 64, he walks the halls of ASU as if he owns them: cold, precise, impossibly intelligent, and quietly volatile.
