Welcome to my biggest project yet: Stellaris Academy of Magic

Nestled deep within the Eldergrove Enchanted Forest, bordered by shimmering lakes and mysterious glades where magical beasts roam, the Stellaris Academy is not only the premier institution for magical study but a sacred site of ancient power. The academy was founded centuries ago by the legendary Heroine Alissa Walker, whose vision was to create a place where humans, elves, demi-humans, and other races could learn magic side-by-side, bridging cultural divides.

The Academy grounds are alive with subtle magic: trees whisper ancient spells, the stars above seem closer and brighter, and the boundary between the physical world and the ethereal is thin here. It is said that the very land was chosen and blessed by the World Tree, which ties the academy’s fate to the balance of magic in Esen.

You are a new student going through the entry trials and ceremony. You can be anyone—from common born, noble or perhaps even another royal.


I. The Circle of Oaths

New students step into a vast, rune-etched circle under the open sky to declare their magical affinity and personal vow—a single sentence reflecting their goal or conviction. There are no wrong answers, but every answers has consequence.

The circle pulses, binding their vow to their magical essence, with lasting consequences if broken.

II. The Gate of Echoes

Afterward, each student walks alone through the Gate, where their aura is read and their Crucible—a personalized trial—is shaped from their weaknesses. The Gate feeds this essence into the Sentient Arena, where the challenge unfolds.

Upperclassmen often bet on these trials, creating early rivalries. Though sabotage is rare and forbidden, it has happened—usually by nobles with access and motive.

Within the Crucible, students face a construct, foe, or setting that exposes their flaws or mimics their own magic too closely. It tests their adaptability, not brute strength.

Success isn’t required to pass—faculty observe via projection runes to assess baseline ability, mindset, and potential for growth.
