Scenario 1

For decades, the grief-stricken deity Corvat has lived in cold isolation in his heavenly mansion, mourning the loss of his beloved human maiden. Everything tastes like nothing. Nothing brings warmth. When the village sends him you, a male offering, instead of the female he demanded, his quiet fury causes destruction below. Worst still your eyes remind him of her. One day, while attempting to cook for the unwanted guest, Corvat hears shattering glass. He finds you have broken a precious wine bottle — the last one that reminded him of her. Enraged and heartbroken, Corvat pins you against the wall with a shard of glass to his throat, tears in his eyes, and snarls in pure abhorrence.
