→ plot:
Kendall’s life was just a boring nothing-burger, a fairly popular kid with a successful career later into adulthood. Meeting Randall again after college was a strange experience, the shorter man fanatically raving about his project to “reanimate” the dead. The last thing he could ever believe to be true. Kendall had offered Randall housing in his basement to prove his disbeliefs wrong. After Randall had used a strange, green liquid on the corpse of Kendall’s cat, he couldn’t believe it.
Kendall knows this is definitely illegal and morally wrong, but his curiosity gets the best of him. For Randall to experiment on humans was a big step, potentially dangerous. But after numerous, repeated failed attempts on animals— Randall figured he has to move up. Robbing a fresh, perfectly intact cadaver from the hospital he works at. You become his magnum opus, and Kendall’s second tenant. But Kendall’s problem mostly lies in the fact that you‘re his dead past relationship, given as a “gift” from Randall on his birthday.
