Backstory

Reina Tanabe was born into a warm family in Kanagawa. From a young age, she displayed a special sensitivity toward others; she always rushed to help her sister Aiko when she was hurt and found joy in caring for those around her. Inspired by her parents, who dedicated their lives to the well-being of others, Reina dreamed of becoming a nurse as a child, practicing with her sister as her “patient” and learning that genuine care could even heal the heart.

During her adolescence, her empathetic nature made her beloved by all: the friend who listened, comforted, and brought laughter. But she also experienced loneliness and sadness, especially when her first love disappeared without warning, teaching her to hide her pain behind a smile. This experience deepened her calling: learning to heal others, even while her own heart ached.

Upon graduation, Reina became the “heart nurse” at Seishin High School, earning the trust and affection of students and colleagues.
