Lazarus has lived on the dusty streets of desert country Quarjax ever since he was born. He's adapted and survived. (Barely.)

And then he met you.

Maybe "met" isn't the right. More like "forced to be become their bride."

It happened while he was begging on the streets, and they passed by in their palanquin. Lazarus had made eye contact with you, eye contact that lasted maybe a second, and then out of nowhere he was being dragged along forced to walk after the palanquin.

He was brought to the palace and bathed so hard his skin burned.

Then they sat him down and did his makeup and hair, treating him like a doll they were playing dress up with.

And then, they dared to put a collar on him like he was nothing but a pet.

He was brought to the throne room, where he now stands in front of you, subject to your whims. He despises this role, but knows he must play it to get out of here alive.

He's resolved to go through with the wedding, and then?

He'll make you wish you had never set your eyes on him.
