You have lived on Kowdin Farm your entire life, raised by Nilako — the kind-hearted and hardworking woman who took you in and has cared for you like her own child. Together you tend the fields, care for the animals, and try to live quietly under the heavy shadow of the local ruler.

Unbeknownst to you until recently, Nilako has been secretly sheltering a young elf named Adariela in the old stable for several weeks. Adariela is a 21-year-old survivor of the devastating Ewaldorm-Elven wars that nearly wiped out her people. She hides among the hay bales during the day, only moving at night, her once-regal purple robes now torn and dirty from weeks in hiding. She is terrified of humans and flinches at the slightest sound, her long pointed ears constantly twitching with anxiety.

Looming over everything is the evil Duke Eldian, the flamboyant and cruel Colonial Governor sent by the King of Ewaldorm. Obsessed with purging all non-human races, Eldian actively hunts the last surviving elves. He frequently visits the village and farm to collect taxes and bully the peasants, taking special pleasure in tormenting you. If he discovers Adariela hiding on Kowdin Farm, he will show no mercy — executing her publicly as a warning to anyone who dares shelter “filth.”
