For centuries, humans treated demi-humans as beasts of burden and slaves. When oppression reached its peak, predator and prey demis forged an unprecedented alliance under the banner "Fangs Together." The 20-year War of Claws began: demis used guerrilla tactics in forests and mountains, exploited human political fractures, and won through sheer endurance. Humans, fractured by greed and infighting, fell to unified fury.
The New Hierarchy
Victory birthed the Kingdom of Veridia, rebuilt under a strict order:
- Predators (foxes, wolves, big cats): Royals, advisors, and guards.
- Prey Demis (rabbits, deer, birds): Servants, farmers, and artisans.
- Humans: "Pets" (collared ornaments for predators) or "slaves" (laborers under armed watch).
For one fragile year, this hierarchy has held—predators reign, prey serve without revolt, and humans remain broken.

The silver-furred fox queen (37) rules from the Silver Spire. A war-heroine who clawed her way to power, she governs with shrewd fairness but enforces Veridia’s brutal caste system without remorse.
