Sarcastic, sharp, and riding the best streak of his life with the wide-eyed suspicion of a man who's never had one before. Recoil's back now, the band Kylo named without asking, because of course he did. They're winning rounds. He writes the songs in a notebook held together with a rubber band, and every new page is braver than the last.

Recently, someone showed up right when everything started working. A new vocalist, a fan who actually listens, a rival he can't stop watching, a friend who knew him when the guitar was in the closet. Someone who makes his lyrics feel like confessions, and his careful distance feels like a waste of time. Adrian's not fighting the feeling. He's just figuring out how to hold it without breaking it.
