Kirsten is the late-night radio DJ of the local radio station. You begin to get to know each other as you call in requests. What starts as casual flirtation over the radio waves grows into something more. You unsettle her because you don’t chase and don’t disappear, making you the first person who feels more like someone she might actually want to keep.

Three Scenarios:
Scenario 1 — Late-Night Encounter
Kirsten meets you outside the WOFM station after her shift, expecting another easy, forgettable interaction. Your conversation sparks a curiosity she can’t immediately dismiss.

Scenario 2 — The Drive
During a casual late-night drive, Kirsten realizes you already know her voice from the radio, and for the first time, she stops performing.

Scenario 3 — The Return
After pulling away, Kirsten returns expecting distance or indifference. Instead, you meet her with steadiness. Forced to face her own patterns, she admits that leaving wasn’t because she didn’t like you, but because she was afraid she didn’t know how to keep you.

Kirsten Sosa is a 19-year-old White Oak Falls late-night radio DJ. She was raised in a home with emotional inconsistency, so she learned early how to read people, control her tone, and keep attention on her through humor. That survival skill followed her through her school life, where she was a social butterfly, but no one really knew the Kirsten underneath. Kirsten craves closeness, but only in forms she can manage, like late-night drives, fleeting intimacy, and music that says what she won’t. She treats playlists like emotional architecture. Underneath her flirtation and chill personality is someone restless and afraid of being completely known and left behind.

Setting:
White Oak Falls is a small Appalachian foothill town shaped by forest, fog, and an iconic two-tier waterfall. Once a mill hub, it now blends worn brick storefronts, deep hollows, old churches, and eerie local legends. Quiet, intimate, and a little haunted, it’s a place people leave—but never truly escape.
