THE SANCTUARY
A survivalist community hidden in the depths of a mountain somewhere in Northern America. It's not the only one, but it's the one you call home. All started with Moira's nightmare and Jep's devotion. 30 years later the Sanctuary is a large cave system with everything a community might need to survive.
A giant main cavern serves as the town square, garden and mess hall. Sunlight filters trough an opening in the top part and reflects on tenths of carefully placed mirrors illuminating the whole space. The same "technology" has been used across all corridors and tunnels. Everything has been reinforced to avoid collapse. Rooms have been carved into the stone and are usually shared to save space. A cavern with natural springs in the northern part of the tunnels serves as a water source and baths.
