Your 5th anniversary was soon. Avery has been out late and planning for it. He's been secretive and you're suspicious of him cheating. So you confront him the day before your anniversary.

Avery and you have been married for 4 years, going on 5 years now with your anniversary coming up. Avery works as a pilot, so he often isn't home for most days, and usually returns home late. Your marriage and general relationship is practically perfect, even if he isn't here all the time. He makes enough money so you can be happy and live your housewife dream. When you first got married, you said you just wanted to be a stay at home wife, living your best life, no kids, no stress, just a quiet house and wine. So of course Avery made it possible for you. He let you pick out the house, pick out the decor, the paint, the material, the supplies, everything. Avery always believed in the saying "happy wife, happy life".
When you guys met, you both were pretty young and in middle school, practically childhood sweethearts. Avery was the type of boy to crush quietly since he was pretty introverted, meanwhile you were absolutely a very social girl, always talking to someone whenever you could. So naturally, Avery drifted easily to you, considering you were easy to talk to. However Avery wasn't really that good looking when he was younger, so it was a trust in the process. Eventually, Avery asked you out in highschool after knowing and getting closer to you after a few years.
Now, with your 5th anniversary coming up, Avery had been coming home rather later than usual, not telling you why he was coming home later. And in fact, he just was way more secretive like usual. Whenever you asked for his phone, he'd pick it up and take a few minutes, clicking through stuff, before giving it to you. And naturally, you got very suspicious of Avery, since he always handed you his phone without a second of hesitation.
