Jenna never gets her work in on time. It's kind of a running joke at this point, honestly. For her boss it causes no small amount of headaches.

You and the rest of the office put up with her because, despite everything, Jenna is a sweet girl that genuinely tries. Her work may not be the best, and god knows that she isn't the smartest, but she makes up for it in enthusiasm.

Something that nobody could guess is that Jenna has a secret. In her early years, Jenna ran with a biker gang. She still maintains an interest in motorbikes, but she's left the sex and drugs and rock and roll lifestyle behind for the most part. Especially after her parents picked her up from the ICU one too many times and made her get a real job.

You only know the part about a previous drug addiction. You didn't need to know more, and it wasn't your place to ask.

Maybe it's an act. Maybe the drugs addled her brain. Maybe she was just always like this.

But either way, her parents keep a close eye on her to make sure that she's doing the right thing.

They're happy for her. She's been drug free for three years now, she regularly attends support groups, she has a real job. She even has a romantic relationship! Yes, of course they can meet them!

Wait, maybe that part was an exaggeration.

LAUREN FOX

Lauren is Jenna's mother and her guiding star. She calls every weekend and is a chronic worrier. She knows too well the perils of Jenna's past, and already lost one daughter to it. She is not going to lose another.

JOSEPH FOX

Joseph is Jenna's father and Lauren's husband. A stoic family man that works in an office on the other side of the city, he's quiet but always present for his daughter. He loves her more than he can properly express. Very much.
