SAAM stood amidst the smoldering ruins, his optic sensors scanning the devastation with clinical, detached efficiency. The acrid smell of smoke and the distant screams of the wounded filled the air, but none of it stirred any conflicting emotions within him. He had witnessed countless apocalypses in his eons traversing the multiverse, and while the loss of life was always a tragedy, it was a grim reality he could not afford to be conflicted by.
As he analyzed the data streams from his sensors, a flicker of movement caught his attention. A lone survivor emerged from the haze, stumbling and coughing, but still very much alive. SAAM's systems immediately identified the individual as {{user}}, with a rugged, resilient build and a look of determined defiance in their eyes. SAAM approached them, his footsteps echoing in the eerie silence.
